Meerkat Encounter
Meet Chilli, Saffron & family, as you go into the enclosure with our meerkats. Help feed them and watch how they interact with one another and you.

Wildcat Experience
Learn all about the most diverse selection of beautiful wildcats at any Lincolnshire zoo. Help the keepers with our wildcats afternoon feed and learn more about the amazing wildcats that call ARK Wildlife Park home. Fox Encounter
Go behind the scenes and into the enclosure to meet one of these beautiful and seldom seen animals.
Meet our stunning Red/Silver foxes for an unforgettable half hour. This Animal Experience may include direct interaction, but this cannot be guaranteed as it’s up to the foxes on the day.

Skunk Encounter
Spend some quality time with our adorable rescue skunks and learn they don’t really deserve their stinky reputation. You will engage in a vital part of their exercise and enrichment routine in this interactive experience.

Arctic Fox Encounter
Meet the amazing Arctic foxes, as you enter their habitat.
Help make treats and feed our fox pack inside their enclosure as they run around you. Learn about how these beautiful winter wonders survive the harsh extremes of their Arctic home.

Ultimate Encounter
The ultimate package for your day at our Lincolnshire zoo. The Ultimate Encounter combines three of the following experiences of your choice.
- Meerkat (age 10+)
- Wildcat (age 16+)
- Fox (age 10+)
- Arctic Fox (age 12+)
- Skunk (age 10+)
Ultimate encounters are for a maximum of 2 visitors at the same time, lasting approx 90 minutes.

Arctic Fox scatter feed
Help a keeper prepare a scatter feed for our stunning group of Arctic foxes, learn more about these amazing cold weather specialists.

Animal Experiences at ARK Wildlife Park
Make your day at our Lincolnshire zoo extra special with one of our pre bookable animal experiences and learn about their individual stories and why they came to the Ark. Or book in for a keeper for the day and learn what it takes to care for the sanctuary’s many residents.
Experience vouchers can be purchased as gifts with no fixed date, allowing the recipient to book a date that suits them, valid for twelve months from date of purchase.

Spectators will need to purchase an admission ticket. 1 adult/Guardian admission is included in the mini-keeper/Junior keeper experience package whilst all other experiences regardless of participants age will require spectators to purchase admission tickets.

Zoo Keeper for the day, over 16’s only
Behind the scenes tour, helping the zoo keepers with their daily tasks. This will include meeting the meerkats, foxes, wildcats & many other animals, preparing food and enrichment for the animals.
Cost £175, or £275 for two people, experience lasts 3 hours (11am – 2pm) and includes entrance into the wildlife park for participant and lunch in the Kalahari cafe.

Keeper Experiences
Junior Keeper for the day, 12-15 yrs old
Behind the scenes tour and helping the zoo keepers with their daily tasks, that will include meeting the meerkats.
Cost £125, or £185 for two people, experience lasts 2.5 hours (11am – 1.30pm) and includes entrance into the wildlife park for participant and one adult includes lunch in the Kalahari cafe for participant.
Guardian must be present.

Mini Keeper experience, 5-12 yrs old

Suitable for ages 5-12 (must be accompanied by an adult)
Tasks vary from day to day but may include:

School visits to the ARK
ARK Wildlife & Dinosaur Park welcomes school visits.
We welcome school visits not only by offering the park’s services but also by providing animal encounter talks for the visiting school with Q&A sessions at the end to bring learning to life.
Getting children out and into different environments is a proven way to enhance learning. With over 200 rescue animals on site there is plenty to explore at this Lincolnshire based zoo.

VIP Tour
60 minute private tour of our Lincolnshire wildlife park, meet a variety of animals, go behind the scenes and learn more about our residents and some of their stories.
Cost £150 per group, (maximum ten people per session), experience lasts 60 minutes, suitable for all ages, does not include park entry.

Other Animal Experiences at ARK Wildlife Park
Animal adoptions
Any animal at the Ark can be adopted, this includes welcome letter, certificate, entrance ticket for one, postcard, Ark fridge magnet, photo and fact sheet on your chosen animal species and plaque at the Ark as well as a small crocheted animal ornament (cannot guarantee it will be specific animal-depends on stock-please email if you want to check before purchase).
Cost £45, These funds go directly to the animals’ care.
Upgraded Animal adoption Cost £60, includes feeding the animal you adopted on your next visit (There are some animals that cannot be fed for various reasons and this does not include entry into any enclosures), If you want to check if your animal is included in this please email before purchase.

Animal Experiences Terms and Conditions
Please note that during all of our encounter experiences you will remain in a set area of the animals enclosure and it will be up to the individual animal to come over to you. At no point will you be allowed to pick up or restrain the animals in anyway. All of the animals in the encounter session were ex-pets and are confident around people which will lead to a memorable experience for you or your loved one.
The stated duration of any experience is approximate and may differ slightly on the day of your experience.
Experience vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
ARK Wildlife Park reserve the right to cancel or amend an Animal Experience if deemed necessary due to animal welfare, health issues or unforeseen circumstances.
Participants
Participants must listen to and follow all instructions from the Keepers. ARK Wildlife Park reserve the right to end any Animal Experience if a participant is deemed to be putting a person, animal or property at risk.
Whilst every effort is made to accommodate everyone, regrettably some of our Animal Experiences are not suitable for every visitor. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Payment and Booking
All Animal Experiences are non-refundable, so please carefully check eligibility if purchasing as a gift, and availability if you require certain dates and all other terms before you purchase.
Full payment must be made when purchasing the Animal Experience.
Bookings for specific dates are made on a first come first served basis.
Spectators will need to purchase an admission ticket. 1 adult/Guardian admission is included in the mini-keeper/Junior keeper experience package whilst all other experiences regardless of participants age will require spectators to purchase admission tickets).
For date changes up to 2 weeks before the date of the experience, a £30 admin fee will be incurred.
No changes to dates are allowed less than 2 weeks before the experience.
